The Iraqi parliament first deputy Sheikh Khalid Al-Attiya sponsored the first ICOIE conference and awards event in Baghdad. More than 300 talents and experts from 28 countries were flown to Baghdad in a chartered airplane and the delegation had a 3 days conference and an award ceremony. More than 25 talents were awarded Iraqi parliament shield which was presented by Iraqi PM Mr. Maliki. The delegation also attended dinners hosted by Iraqi PM Nouri Al-Maliki and Iraqi parliament head Dr. Al-Mishhadani and Dr. Attiya.
